Fr. Agnel School, Bhopal ushers in the 25^th year of Academic Excellence.

Thursday, 24th November 2022 was a great day at Fr. Agnel Co-ed Senior Secondary School, Bhopal. It celebrated the grand opening of the celebration of the silver jubilee year. The school has entered its 25th year of academic excellence, imparting knowledge to young minds with the mission to prepare the Agnelites, boys, and girls to scale great heights in academic and moral standards and life skills for a future that belongs to the learned.

His Grace,Most Rev.  Dr. Sebastian Durairaj SVD, Arch Bishop of Bhopal graced the occasion as a chief guest, while His grace Rt. Rev. Aleixo Dias Bishop Emeritus of Andaman and Nicobar Islands was the guest of honor.

To thank the almighty God for this marvelous milestone achievement and pray for the Management, Pilar Society, Past Principals, teachers, Parents, Students and mentors, a thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration was held before the cultural programme. Many other dignitaries and parents were present to witness the mega event which was themed "Uzvadd" meaning The Light. The school teachers sang melodious and meaningful hymns during the mass.

The cultural extravaganza started off with the school band escorting the chief guests and dignitaries to the main stage dais. The band also accorded the guard of honour to the dignitaries and the gathering. This was followed by the launching of the silver jubilee logo which was designed by the school’s student. To mark and celebrate the beginning of the Quadranscentennial year 25 lamps were lighted by the representatives of various departments of the school along with the dignitaries as the students choir sang the Jubilee Anthem specially composed for the silver jubilee year. Students gave a graceful classical dance performance which enthralled the audience. Principal Mr. Sojan Joseph addressed the gathering and welcomed them. To give a proper beginning to the event the school choir sang beautifully and mellifluously composed words of jubilee welcome song. Meritorious students in academic field were felicitated by giving cash awards. Dance drama performance with its grand finale left the crowd spell bound wanting for more. The school will hold various activites throught the year to commemorate the silver jubilee year and a concluding mega event will be held in November 2023.
