Fr. Agnel Co-Ed. Senior Secondary School

Fr. Agnel Co-Ed. Senior Secondary School, Gondipura is an affiliate of the Registered Society of Divine Providence, a branch of the Society of Pilar, Goa. The members of the Society of Pilar commonly known as the Pilar Fathers arrived in central India in Bhopal way back in 1986. After meticulously studying the educational scenario against the backdrop of a literally starved rural populace the Fathers decided to open an English Medium School in Gondipura in the year 1998. Being a Minority Institution, established under Art.30 (#1) of the Constitution of India, the sole objective was to cater to the educational needs of the children in the suburbs of Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh.

The School received its recognition from the Government of Madhya Pradesh and its affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi in 2008. The School has over the years grown into a sizeable tree with over 2500 students and over 100 faculty members. In response to the staggeringly growing demand of new entrants waiting desperately to be part of the Agnelites family a new wing of the school building is presently underway and will be ready for use in the new session.

A plush Administrative-cum Entrance Lobby in keeping with the signs of the time along with a fully equipped Computer Lab, Science Lab and Maths Lab are in place to make schooling a pleasant experience both for the student as well as the parent and staff, our partners in education. The aims and objectives of the Pilar Fathers have primarily been to bring the light of hope to the underprivileged.
